Solution Overview

This solution uses the architecture of 'receiving antenna + medium power elevator equipment + ultra-high gain special antenna'. The system covers up to 110 meters downward, suitable for elevator scenarios of 35 floors and below. A single device combined with a power divider can cover multiple elevator cars, with easy construction and no maintenance required. The case includes a 35-floor elevator system in Chengdu, which achieved full 4G/5G signal coverage with smooth voice and video, providing an innovative low-cost alternative to traditional indoor distribution systems.

Architecture Description

  • Uses 1 receiving antenna + medium power elevator equipment + power divider + ultra-high gain special antenna to cover signal issues in elevators for 35 floors and below.
  • Installed at the top of the elevator shaft, covering downwards.
  • Can cover up to around 110 meters.

Application Case

Chengdu Residential Elevator Signal Coverage Innovation Pilot Case: For a 35+2 floor building with two elevators where signal blind spots existed due to shaft closure, China Tower Chengdu Branch used a wireless digital medium power indoor distribution system to successfully achieve continuous 4G/5G coverage. The solution uses medium-power elevator-specific equipment to replace traditional high-cost distribution systems, and innovative coverage solutions are deployed in the elevator shaft. After implementation, the elevator coverage rate (RSRP ≥-105dBm and SINR ≥0) reached 100%, with stable 4G/5G signal strength at the lowest level (-2 floor) around -95dBm. Real measured 4G download/upload speeds of 38/10Mbps, 5G of 53/10Mbps, with clear voice calls and smooth live streaming.
